So for me just recreating everything in Nicepage isn't that simple. They can just reload the theme if necessary. My clients love this because they don't have to worry about failed database updates. However, most of my themes have years of blog posts stored inside the theme, as an easy backup and restore option. I also have a lot of sites built in Artisteer, like many othersthathave posted.
